PLANNED GIVING RENEWAL PROGRAM
This weekend in our parish we launch a four week ‘planned giving renewal program’. During this time we hope that each parishioner might take some time to reconsider their financial contribution to our parish. We are known as a parish who have good levels of participation and community, however we are also currently living beyond our means. This weekend the priests will include in their preaching some spiritual encouragement to be generous with what God has blessed us with. Over the next few weeks there will be an opportunity for you, in a concrete way, to understand our current financial position and to respond to this. Envelopes
While we are unable to attend Masses in our church due to Covid-19, we cannot receive any envelope giving each week. As a consequence, our parish income has halved placing considerable financial pressure on us. In addition, we are facing new costs as we setup new ways to function as a parish, including livestreaming of Masses, Facebook and video conferencing.
We appreciate that some of you will be putting your weekly giving into envelopes and holding onto them until we are in a position to receive them from you.
We’d like to encourage those who can, to switch from envelopes to internet banking to electronically transfer their regular giving direct from your own bank account.
You may wish to revert to envelope giving once we are able to hold masses again or, preferably, continue with regular giving through internet banking.

Food Voucher Donation
We seek donations that we can use to purchase food vouchers to distribute to those who may need them.
If you are in a position to make a donation towards the purchase of food vouchers, we would ask you to make them via internet banking using the following details.

Your giving covers the day to day operations of our churches. 1/3 of your contributions go to the Clergy Trust Fund, to support our Priests and Bishop.
