Ascension= proclamation + unity

St. Paul, through his letter to Ephesians calling us to make a unity among us That is our calling as believers. This unity is not one which the Christian needs to create, but one which already existed and must be diligently preserved. He begs us to lead a life worthy of our calling with humility and gentleness, patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. we are called to remember that there is one body, one Spirit ,one Lord, one faith, one baptism , one God.

In Jesus Christ we have been given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. so that all the saints may be equipped for ministry, to build up the body of Christ . Our leaders are called truly to be leaders. We are invited to come to a place where we speak the truth in love, such that we grow together into Christ. When we work properly, the body builds itself up in love . This is a profound call to unity, perhaps the most profound in all of Scripture.

Through baptism we all are called to proclaim the good news. Even though we have diversity in both in and out ,our mission is uniting us together. Because we all are send by one master sharing the same mission. All Christians are sealed, possessed, and indwelt by the same Spirit and look forward to the same hope. We possess one Lord, that is, one Supreme Commander, one common faith held by all Christians, and one baptism.

Creating a perfect unity among us and holding good news are the best ways to make us, perfect disciples of Christ .
